GANGTOK, 30 Mar [IPR]: The second round of hands-on training
on EVMs was imparted to 150 polling officers of East District in the conference
hall of the District Administrative Center (East) by ADC Development, Roshini
Rai and SDM (Gangtok), KL Lepcha on 29 March.
The final round of training to the presiding and polling
officers will be conducted in Chintan Bhawan
on 08 and 09 April 2014 during which the appointment orders will also be
given to presiding and polling officers, along with identity cards. Postal
ballots will also be given to all these officers on the same day and they can
cast their votes in Chintan Bhawan on the same day.
