Two arrested in Jorethang


GANGTOK, 18 Jan: Two persons were arrested by the Jorethang police for being in possession of contraband substances.
Acting on information from sources, Buddha Rai [28], resident of Majigaon, Jorethang was arrested by Jorethang police and was found to be in possession of 62 loose capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon, while Adarsh Gurung [21], resident of Chisopani, South Sikkim found loitering around at the football playground at Jorethang was also arrested. The police recovered six files [133 capsules] of Spasmo Proxyvon from Gurung.
Both have been arrested by the Jorethang police and booked under section 9/14 of Sikkim Anti-Drugs Act.
