Baijuraj Sangh forms Pani House branch


GANGTOK, 06 Dec: Sri Krishna Pranami Dharma Sewa Samiti, Pani House, Gangtok, celebrated “Prabartak Sadguru Sri Dewchanhra Ji and Mahamati Sri Pran Nath Ji Milap Diwas” on 04 Dec with Reverend Bhima highlighting the significance of the event, informs a press release.

On the occasion, the Pani House branch of the Baijuraj Sangh was also formed with Uma Gurung nominated as the president, Prem Kumari Bhandari as the Vice-President, Bina Oli as the General Secretary, Rupa Khewa and Shalu Agrawal as the Joint Secretaries, Lalita Kharel, as the Publicity Secretary, Hema Sharma, Tika Sharma and Deepa Dahal as the Assistant Publicity Secretaries, Sumitra Rai as the Treasurer, Shova Sharma as the Vice Treasurer, Harka Maya Chettri, Nirmala Bhandari, Narvada Sharma and Khila Dahal as the Advisors while Tulasa Sharma, Sujata Kharel, Varsha Agrawal, Shova Sharma, Ms. Bimla Sharma and Mrs. Bimla Sharma have been included as members.
Rev. Bhima, in her discourse, underlined the contributions made by Baijuraj Maharani and stressed the important role that Baijuraj Sanghs can play in the construction of the mandir. President, Niyabaram Pranami Mandir Committee, RS Bhandari on his part assured of every help and support for the mandir construction.
Sri Jiwan Das Maharaj of Namphing while delivering his discourse assured that Mandir will be constructed in the coming 2-3 years which he added will cater to all the devotees across the state. Presidents of various Baijuraj Sanghs were also felicitated on the occasion, the release briefs.
The event was also addressed by the president of Tharpu Baijuraj Sangh, Damyanti Dhital, president, Chalamthang Baijuraj Sangh, Renuka Khatiwara, president, Bermiok-Namohing Baijuraj Sang, Shankun Koirala and president, Niyabaram Baijuraj Branch, Man Maya Sanjel.

Among the participants at the event were the president, Sir Krishna Pranami Dharma Sabha, Dawa Sherpa and the devotees from Ranka, Parbin, Sichey, Deorali, Tadong, Ranipool, Namphing and Chalamthang, the release adds.  

The programme was marked by “Dandiya” and Bhajan Kirtan was conducted by General Secretary, Pani House Mandir Committee, Shanti Ram Adhikari and vote of thanks proposed by the President, DN Sharma, the release informs.
