Regu BAC conducts coordination meeting for school heads

GANGTOK, 25 Oct: HRDD/ Regu BAC organised a coordination meeting-cum-workshop for school heads today at the conference hall, Regu BAC, informs a press release.
During the first session of the meeting-cum-workshop, Assistant Director, HRDD/Regu BAC, Chador Bhutia shared information regarding the new guidelines issued by HRDD about the Mid-Day Meal scheme. He also informed about the launching of ‘Shiksha ka Haq Abhiyan’ on Education Day, the release mentions.
Referring to an Office Order, he directed all the heads of schools to observe Education Day on 11 November with the focus on RTE. During the session many other problems and issues related to school administration were also discussed, the release adds.
In the second session of the meeting, Dy. Director, DESME, Nima Tamang discussed in detail about the Sikkim State Employees Census 2011. He requested heads of schools to ensure proper filling up of data related to employees in order to avoid any kind of inconvenience in future. Furnishing data under the Sikkim State Employees Census 2011 will be beneficial for the employees themselves, he added.
Chief Account Officer, GPF/Pension, Meera Lama informed the heads of the schools about the complications and problems of teaching and non- teaching staff of their school regarding GPF/CPF/GIS accounts. She further requested all the school heads to correct data as early as possible, wherever needed and also informed about the fresh notification issued by the Dept. for GPF withdrawals, the release further informs.
The meeting-cum-workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by CRC Coordinator, Prakash Poudyal. The meeting was also attended by school principals, headmasters and CRC Coordinators.
