Cheli Morcha thanks all involved at the 16th Tumin Lingzey relief camps

GANGTOK, 01 Nov: Seeking to provide comfort to the earthquake victims of 16th Tumin Lingzey, relief camps were set up in an initiative taken by the SDF Cheli Morcha, vice convener, Poonam Chamling. The camps which are being run since 20 Oct are providing accommodation to 52 affected families at present, informs a press release.
Ms. Chamling on behalf of the entire affected families of Dikchu and New Market has extended gratitude to the area MLA, Ugen T Gyatso Bhutia, Minister, NK Pradhan, SDM, East, AB Karki, BDO, East, Tenzing Dorjee Bhutia, Red Cross Society, Friends at Rachna, Dr. RD Bhutia, Dikchu Out Post In-charge, JB Gurung and his staff, World Vision India, Sandeep Kashyap of Corporate Disaster Resource Networks, Praveen Pradhan and Sheetal Pradhan of Spark, Sapant Pradhan and Karma T Bhutia from Tycoons International, Rotary International, Dr. Sheetal Patel of  Ameci Cares India, Chung Chung Bhutia, Ongmu Tongden and their team of Live to Love, Drillcon and SKPPL, Dikchu, Panchayat, Rakdong- Tintek, BB Gurung, HB Thapa, panchayat president, Tanek, Kodo Lepcha and TN Kazi.
She has further expressed her deepest thanks to Arun Oberoi and principal, Kids Corner, Pema Lhamu Tongden for their unconditional support and the assistance extended in running the camps.
Also Ms. Chamling has acknowledged the quick action taken by the Chief Minister, Pawan Chamling and his government in the relief and rehabilitation works, adds the release.
