Christian Literary conference held at Ranka


GANGTOK: A conference on Christian literature seeking to provide a platform to budding writers was convened at Logos Centre in Ranka on 23 April by “Unmukti’, a Christian family magazine.
Rajesh Lulam from Darjeeling, present as the chief guest, passed on tips for upcoming writers, while TB Rai of Tadong Evangelical Presbyterian Church presented a critique on writings presented by various writers, informs a press release.
Emmanual Gift, editor, ‘Unmukti’, remarked that the conference was of “great help for budding writers”.
Some of the writers who presented their works at the meeting were Shyam Subba, Patras Gurung, Peter Nepal, Santosh Mothey, Silas Rai, Manoj Kumar Bungchen, Bassa Lepcha, Sanjay Kachap, Dhruba Subba, Panchalal Lohar, Mangyal Lepcha, Rupa Tamang, Pushpa Kechap and Rajani Mothe, the release adds.
