Mamley-Kamrang GPU emerged the overall
champion at the Block Level Rural Sports Competition held for Namchi Block
under the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Abhiyan held from 14 to 16 October. A total of nine
GPUs participated in sporting disciplines ranging from Archery to Boxing to
Football, Table-Tennis and Tae-Kwon-Do, Assistant Director-I Gangtok Sports
& Youth Affairs Department, CL Rai informs. The final day had South Zilla
Upadhakshya Devi Maya Baraily present as chief guest.
