GANGTOK, 08 Aug: Tendong Lho Rum Faat was celebrated today at Passingdang with a puja at Lapcho Kung by Bongthing Tashi Lepcha followed by plantation of saplings by local public and students of Passingdang SS. Traditional Lepcha food was served to the gathering on the occassion.
A procession was taken out from the place of puja till Passingdang SS school ground where cultural programme was displayed by students. The programme was attended by Chairperson Sikkim Milk Union Choden Lepcha, Zilla Panchayat Nezing Lepcha, Panchayat president Choda Lepcha, Headmaster Pema Lhamu Lepcha and staff of Passingdang SS and feeder schools. The programme was organised by Adyor Ongzum and supported by Manik Club of Passingdang .
