New Delhi, 07 Aug [PIB]: The Ministry of Development of North East Region under the Non-Lapsable Central Pool of Resources Scheme (NLCPR) and by North Eastern Council (NEC) has approved Rs 1,595 lakh on 27 June 2014 for the current financial year. Out of this, Rs 574.2 lakh has already been released for remodeling of electrical installation including system improvement works at Rhenock Bazaar and adjoining areas in East Sikkim. This was stated by the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North East Region, General (Retd.) Dr. V K Singh in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
