GANGTOK, 20 Aug [IPR]: Speaker, Sikkim Legislative Assembly, KN Rai has been nominated as member of the ‘Standing Committee of the All India Presiding Officers Conference’ by Speaker, Lok Sabha, Sumitra Mahajan. The committee consists of eight members and has Ms. Mahajan as the Chairperson.
Further, Speaker, Sikkim Legislative Assembly has also been nominated as member of the ‘Follow up Subcommittee of the Standing Committee of the India Presiding Officers Conference’. Chairperson, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, Dr. A Chakrapani is the Convener of the Committee which consists of five members.
