Higher Education wins big
GANGTOK, 21 Aug: Higher Education [HRDD] thrashed the Law Department today in its first match of the ongoing 3rd Inter Departmental Football Tournament here at Paljor Stadium.
Making its debut in the tournament, the Higher Education team registered a 06-01 victory against the Law Department. The team came with strong supporters comprising of college students who cheered for their teachers throughout the match. Zigmi Dorji Bhutia of Higher Education was adjudged the Man of the Match.
The other match of the day, between Tourism and Ecclesiastical departments, ended in a goalless draw. Kapil Rai of Tourism was declared as the Man of the Match.
