Gangtok, 13 July: Martam Rumtek MLA Dr. Mechung Bhutia held an orientation meeting with the public of Rey Mendu under his constituency today.
“The purpose of the meeting was to remove the fear of political discrimination in the public and to aware the people that Panchayats and MLAs are elected by the public to work for the public and to raise their voice,” a press release states.
The MLA, spoke to the people about organic farming and further assured to perform his duties as their representative with due diligence without discriminating anyone and said that the same was expected of the panchyats
During the meeting, the importance of Bhanu Jayanti was also discussed.
