GANGTOK, 11 July: A man was reportedly attacked and looted at Ranka on 09 July. The victim was allegedly attacked near Rai Gaon, Ranka. The accused persons snatched his watch, mobile phone (Sony Xperia), a wallet containing cash amount Rs. 5,000, gold ring (1 tola) and fled from the spot. A case has been registered against one Akash Rai and his friends at Sadar Police Station and efforts are on to apprehend the accused persons.
