GANGTOK, 16 July [IPR]: Since 14 July, the STNM Hospital received 28 students and police personnel in the emergency ward in connection with injuries sustained in the police action at Tadong on 14 and 15 July. These patients had sustained minor injuries in the clash at Tadong and were released after being given first aid.
Only one student was admitted in the hospital for observation on 14 July and was discharged on 16 July. One adult possibly a bystander was admitted with injuries and was also discharged on 16 July.
