GANGTOK, 16 June: Principal of
Holy Cross School, Tadong, Sr. Celine Antony today handed over an amount of Rs.
3,40,264 to Caring Souls Foundation. Chief coordinator of the Foundation, Prashant
Dube received the amount on behalf of the organization.
Caring Souls Foundation was established
in the year 1999 and has its head office in Lucknow. It is dedicated to the cause of HIV/AIDS and Cancer prevention and providing support to patients.
A press release informs that the amount
collected from the schools by the students will be used for providing support
to the cancer patients.
Mr. Prashant thanked the students, parents and
teachers for their support. The students with the highest collection also
received trophies from the Chief coordinator of the Caring Souls Foundation.
