GANGTOK, 25 June: A meeting of Sikkim Football Association
[SFA] was held here at the Football House today. An SFA press release issued by
its president, BK Roka, informs that in pursuance of the state government
circular disallowing government servants from being part of any associations, all
the state government employees who were members of the SFA, tendered their
resignation to the SFA president.
The release informs that it was also decided to hold a General
Body Meeting to fill up the vacant posts from the existing members of the
Association. Till such time all activities of the association will be kept in
abeyance.
