The plantation drive was participated in by SYA Principal
Secretary, Dr K Jayakumar, SYA Special Secretary Nima Laden, officials and
staffs of SYA along with ACFs Vijay Upreti , Zigdal Lachenpa and head Forest
Guards TP Adhikari and BL Pandey.
The plantation drive has also witnessed a good crowd of
representatives of different Football Clubs, PNG students and teachers, Army
Football Club, Karatekas and renowned professional footballers of Sikkim Sanju
Pradhan [Dempo Club], Bikash Jairu [Salgaocar Club] and Nim Tshering Lepcha
[USFC].
On the occasion, saplings of different varieties were
planted by participants in the premises of Khel Gaon.
