GANGTOK, 23 June: The valedictory
function of a 45-day bamboo craft training conducted under capacity building programme
of the Integrated Watershed Management Programme of East and North Districts by
the Forest Department was held on 20 June at the Forest Secretariat here.
The function, an
official press release informs, was chaired by the Forest Minister Tshering
Wangdi Lepcha and was also attended by Dr. Anil Mainra, PCCF-cum-Member
Secretary, SLNA, DC Nepal, Conservator of Forests-cum-CEO, SLNA, Rachit Dewan,
Programmer (Livelihood), SLNA and the beneficiaries. The release does not
specify for whom the training was held or how many took the training.
