GANGTOK, 20 June: Horticulture & Cash Crops Development Department
(East District) conducted skill development programme on plantation of grafted
Guava at Syari Mam Gaon today.
Held under the convergence programme with MGNREGA, the
programme covered an area of 2.0 Ha where 1111 grafted Guava seedlings were
distributed to the beneficiaries, informs a press release.
Present for the training programme were the beneficiaries
and departmental officers, SK Sharma [Joint Director] and CN Lepcha [Deputy
Director East] and field staff.
