TOURISTS FLOOD TO BAKTHANG FALLS:

Bakthang Falls near Burtuk, one of the “points” for tourists in-and-around Gangtok is flooded with tourists nowadays with minor traffic jams also taking place due to the huge number of cabs bringing tourists here. Visitors can be seen engaged in a myriad of activities here – from wearing traditional costumes for photographs to strapping in for a river-crossing experience to bargaining for trinkets. There is an excited buzz in the air at all times there.
