MANGAN, 20 May: This is one traffic jam that no one should
have complaints about given that this is proof of the prosperity being ferried
to North Sikkim by way of tourism. This spot at Upper Tintek Falls in East
Sikkim witnesses a regular traffic jam due to the tourist vehicles which stop
here en route to North Sikkim. This has become a popular sightseeing spot for
the tourists. This however disrupts regular traffic at this spot and jams at
times take up to an hour to ease due to erratic and inconsiderate parking. The non-tourist
traffic suffers and commuters have been appealing to drivers to work out a
better parking arrangement around this area.
