GANGTOK, 15 May: One tourist was killed when a taxi ferrying
tourists from Baba Mandir to Gangtok met with an accident at 20th Mile, Chipsu.
There were eleven tourists in the vehicle including three minor children. One
of the tourist succumbed to injuries on the spot while other ten occupants
escaped with injuries. The injured, including the driver have been admitted at
CRH Manipal. One of the injured is in the ICU and the others are under medical
observation. The case is under investigation.
