MANGAN, 02 May: International Labour Day was observed here
at NHPC Teesta Stage IV office at Pheedang Lower Dzongu, North Sikkim on 01
May. The function was organized by NHPC Employees Association under the aegis
of its president RB Singh.
Highlighting on the function, Mr. Singh appealed to the
workers to be united and dedicated in their duty for the development of the
society and the nation. He further stressed that the working class contributes
a lot to the development of the nation and without which the infrastructural
development would not be possible.
The function was also attended by all the members of the
Employees Association including senior members Rajesh Singh, Babulal Yadav,
Jigmee Lepcha and others.
