GANGTOK, 21 May: Kitam Development Committee (KDC) has
congratulated the Sikkim Democratic Front party on coming to power for the
fifth consecutive time.
A press release informs that KDC held a meeting on Tuesday
where it also extended its congratulations to area MLA, Tulshi Devi Rai who won
the 2014 assembly election from Melli constituency. The Committee has further
thanked SDF president and Chief Minister Pawan Chamling for offering a cabinet
portfolio to Tulshi Devi Rai.
Ms Rai is a dynamic, dedicated and motivated political
activist of the constituency, the release mentions and adds that the people of
the area expect a “developmental flood” in this term.
