GANGTOK, 17 May: An Inter-House English Elocution Competition
was held in Tendong Educational Institute on 15 May between three houses; Rufus
(Red), Gemma (Green), Beryl (Blue).
A press release informs that the competition was adjudged by
Namrata Chettri, Sister Rita Moni and Sashi Thapa while the programme was
conducted by the headmistress, Rita Sereng. There were 33 participants (11 from
each house) from the Junior, Intermediate and Senior sections. Gemma house was
declared the winner of the competition which also saw some songs and dance
performances by the students.
