02 Apr [IPR]: A voter awareness camp by Nehru Yuva Kendra along with election
officers was held at Gyalshing Bazaar today to make the general public aware
about the mechanism of the EVMs.

person DP Sharma briefed the general public about how to cast the vote. Live
demonstration on how the EVM works was conducted on the spot and the general
public also came forward to take part in the dummy demonstration.

Rai also spoke at length about the upcoming election and made the public aware
about the importance of voting. From this election onwards, NOTA (None of the
above) button will also be available whereby if a voter is not satisfied with any
of the candidates,s/he can utilize this button and not cast their vote for anyone.
