Namchi’s Taal Music & Dance Academy will be performing
the Maruni dance and the Tamang Selo at the Poorvottar Rang Mahotsav, a
festival of dance, drama and music of the Northeastern region at Jawahar Kala
Kendra in Jaipur. The festival began on 31 March and is scheduled to continue
till 04 April and will also feature artists from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh,
Meghalaya, Nagaland and Manipur. The festival has been organized by the Sangeet
Natak Academy, Delhi, in collaboration with Natyakulam, Jaipur.
