ICFAI Univ set to achieve 100% placement this year as well

GANGTOK, 31 Mar: This year, students of ICFAI University Sikkim have got higher and better posts as compared to the past two years.

A press release informs that like last year, the university is all set to achieve 100% quality placements this year as well. 84% of outgoing students (who opted for placements) have already been placed in reputed companies like IBM, Wipro Ltd., Hyatt Regency Kolkata, Artha Group, TATA Consultancy Services, SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd., IndusInd Bank Ltd., Artha Group, Mayfair Hotels, Oberoi Group, Taj Bengal Kolkata, Tara Palace, Oberoi Hotels, HHI etc, it is mentioned.

23 companies have conducted on campus and off campus placement drives and the process is still on. These companies are recruiting students from ICFAI since past few years, the release informs.

Reputed companies are participating in our campus placement activity since 2012 where companies like, IBM, TCS, Wipro Tech, Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank etc. are consecutively recruiting our students for last 3 years. More than 250 students have been placed so far and they are presently working in blue-chip companies. Students of Bhutan and Nepal have also been successfully placed in reputed Indian companies.

The university has also conducted pool campus drive of IBM, TCS, Wipro Tech & Tech Mahindra in which students from Sikkim Govt. College, Sikkim Manipal University, Siliguri Institute of Technology, St. Joseph’s College, Darjeeling Govt. College, Kalimpong Govt. College and Cluny Women’s College participated, the release adds.
