GANGTOK, 26 Mar: Sikkim Liberation Party has announced that
the party has been recognized by the Election Commission of India as a
registered political party.
In a press release, the party has said that it is in the
process of developing able leadership and in no hurry to enter the poll fray.
The party is working to garner able human resource to create an atmosphere for
democracy in the state, it is stated.
The party has further said that none of the political parties
fighting this election are serious about resolving important issues pertaining
to the development of Sikkim. It has appealed to the people to first create a conducive
democratic environment with level playing field for elections.
