GANGTOK, 25 Mar: Sikkim Krantikari Morcha president PS Tamang
[Golay] received a warm welcome from the people of Namthang-Rateypani yesterday.
An SKM press release informs that the SKM president met the people of the area
after getting a grand reception from thousands of people of the area. Mr.
Tamang, it may be recalled, switched from the earlier announced Soreong-Chakung
[in West Sikkim] to Namthang-Rateypani as his second constituency [after Upper
Burtuk] for the upcoming Assembly elections.
