GANGTOK, 25 Mar: A section of the public of Martam-Rumtek in
East Sikkim has thanked Sikkim Krantikari Morcha for fielding a well-qualified
and young local candidate for the area for the upcoming assembly elections.
They further added that the area has got a ‘Bhumiputra’
as a candidate for the first time in the assembly elections. The SKM has
fielded Dr Mechung Bhutia as its candidate for the Martam-Rumtek constituency.
This was stated in a press conference today addressed by
Ramesh Chandra Kharel, Hari Chandra Neopaney, Rinzing Bhutia and Topden Bhutia
of Martam-Rumtek constituency.
