GYALSHING,
27 Mar [IPR]: All nominations filed in the West District for the coming
election have been accepted.
The
scrutiny of the candidates who filed nominations for the West District for the General
Elections 2014 was held in the office of the Returning Officer (West), DAC,
Gyalshing today.
As
per the information by the RO, 32 candidates from different parties filed nominations
for 8 constituencies in the West District. Sikkim Democratic Front [SDF],
Sikkim Krantikari Morcha [SKM] and Congress [INC] filed nominations for all the
constituencies followed by six nominations filed by Bharatiya Janta Party [BJP]
and two by Trinamool Congress [TMC].
