MANGAN, 24 Mar: Two Congress
candidates filed their nominations in North Sikkim today.
Karma Tashi Bhutia from Kabi Lungtsok constituency and
Penzong Lepcha from Dzongu constituency filed their nomination today at
District Administrative Centre, Mangan where the Returning Officer (RO) North,
TN Kazi along with Asst Returning Officer, Raj Yadav received their nomination
papers.
The Returning Officer after completing the nomination informed
them about the norms and guidelines to be followed by the candidates while
campaigning for the election and further informed that the last date for the
withdrawal of nomination is 29 March before 3 pm.
