GANGTOK, 16 Feb: A meeting of the executive members of
T’Nites Alumni Association [of Tashi Namgyal Senior Secondary School] was held here
today chaired by the association president Thukchuk Lachungpa.
The meeting discussed preparations for the golden jubilee celebrations
of the school.
“The school will complete its 50th year of establishment in
2015. There will be a yearlong program lined up to commemorate the event. The
meeting decided to prepare a road map on the same,” Mr. Lachungpa states.
The alumni has requested all ex-students of the school to
participate in and support the initiative to make the program a grand success. Also
present in the meeting was the former president of the alumni association, BK
Roka, and others.
