GANGTOK, 06 Feb: Sikkim Krantikari Morcha has condemned and expressed
displeasure over the tone and content of the ruling party’s statement published
today in different Nepali and English newspapers. The party has also claimed that
the ruling party has already been defeated on every front by a year-old
opposition party.
An SKM press release states that the party president, PS Tamang’s
[Golay] challenge to the Chief Minister Pawan Chamling for a public debate has
alarmed the ruling party. Instead of ridiculing the SKM president, SDF’s
publicity secretaries should advice the CM to take up the challenge, the
release adds.
The party has further stated that SDF should first study
SKM’s programme declared on its foundation day at Jorethang before giving any
statements on it.
