“Rekindle heavenly virtues of compassion, understanding, cooperation and mutual respect”
Message
It is with great pleasure and immense admiration that I address this message to this holy congregation on the auspicious occasion of Silver Jubilee Celebration of Nyingma Monlam Chenmo that is being observed from 31st January till the 10th of February 2014. The annual Nyingma Monlam Chenmo is a richly- endowed spiritual experience for the followers to pray for world peace and dedicating their prayers to Bodhisatvas and Guru Padmasambhava, the founder of their tradition.
In this unfolding world of acute materialism and declining human compassion, this Nyingma Monlam Chenmo holds up immense hope to rekindle heavenly virtues of compassion, understanding, cooperation and mutual respect among all the people worldwide. Through holy teaching, we can cultivate and promote a greater sense of inner spiritual well being among our people and establish a more tolerant human society in the world.
I would like to congratulate all of you for being the messengers of peace, love and truth and for your priceless service to the society. I am confident that the Nyingma Monlam Chenmo will go from strength to strength and continue to bring greater peace and prosperity to our precious yet fragile world.
