GANGTOK, 30 Jan: 19th Battalion Sashastra Seema Bal distributed various articles to the local people at Ribdi on 29 January 2014 at SSB Ribdi campus.
A press release informs that seeds and pesticide [organic] spraying machines mounted on bicycles were distributed to the local stakeholders of Ribdi and its surrounding villages. Panchayat Member of Ribdi, Suman Ray was present during the distribution programme as the chief guest who appreciated the work being carried out by SSB in far-flung areas of Sikkim, it is mentioned.
The items were distributed to Self Help Group Tendong, Himali Aama Samuho and Nag Beli Conservation Association. Sub Inspector, Manish Srivastav of 19th Bn SSB Gangtok organised the said programme.
