GANGTOK, 21 Jan: Maha Makar Sankranti Mela is underway at
Rangpo, near Lall market since 12 January. The mela, organized by the youth of
Rangpo, was inaugurated by area MLA and Industries Minister, Neeru Sewa on 12
January.
A press release informs that the mela has more than 60
stalls along with a Ferris wheel, toy train, toy taxi, Meena Chitrahaar, Maut
ka kuan and tambola. The mela will continue till 26 January, it is informed.
