One persons quarters in Singtam was robbed during the just ended festive season. The complainant had left for Siliguri on 31 December, 2013 and returned to his room at Santinagar, Singtam on 6 January only to find that it had been broken into and burgled. As per reports the miscreants made it into the room through the balcony and made away with 2 gold sets necklaces, 3 gold bangles, an i-pod and a video camera. No one has been arrested so far.
