MANGAN, 20 Jan: Footballers undergoing the free winter
coaching camp organized by the North District Football Association and the
Sports & Youth Affairs Department here for under 14 and U-16 year olds were
treated to a special gift - 35 sets of football jerseys sponsored by the United
Sikkim Football Club, State Bank of India and AFC.
The sets were handed over at the Tiger-5 pitch here at Pentok
by SP (North) RN Yadav who is also the NDFA president, in a special function
also attended by DSO (N) Janim Lepcha, SDPO Palden Bhutia, Mangan Nagar
Panchayat president KJ Bhutia, councilor PK Malu in the presence of NDFA
members, Ugen Palzor, Pemzang Tenzing, Kunzang Kazi, Sachin Agarwal and Shyam
Gurung.
The football camp has been underway since December 2013 and will
continue till 12 February.
