GANGTOK, 30 Jan: Chief Convener of Anushuchit Jati Kalyan Sangh, Sikkim, Binay Gazmer along with Executive Members of AJKS met Sub Divisional Magistrate, Namchi, South Sikkim, Ravindra Kumar today at his office.
A press release informs that the delegation congratulated Mr Kumar for being conferred with the Sikkim Khel Ratna on Republic Day 2014 at Gangtok for successfully climbing Mount Everest. The team also briefed Mr Kumar about the social activities being carried out by AJKS for the welfare of the Scheduled Caste community. Mr Kumar assured to extend all possible support to AJKS in the future.
AJKS has also congratulated Kazi Sherpa and Anand Gurung on receiving the prestigious Sikkim Khel Ratna Award along with Mr. Kumar, the release adds.
