GANGTOK, 11 Dec: A debate competition was held at Sombaria Senior Secondary School organised by Sombaria PHC under the aegis of MO In-charge, Dr BK Chauhan. A press release informs that the students debated on the topic ‘Is adolescent health a priority?’. The speakers for the motion emerged victorious and the participants were presented with cash prizes.
The function also saw a sensitization programme on adolescent health and general awareness was given to students by the Police department. Sombaria Police Station PI, Mahindra Pradhan, Dr. BKChauhan and field facilitator GVK Daramdin were the main speakers, the release mentions.
