GANGTOK, 31 Oct: The State Government has promoted Laden Tshering and LP Barfungpa in the suppertime grade-I and on officiating capacity to the post of Secretaries.
In a promotion order issued recently, Ms. Tshering, presently posted as Special Secretary, Food Security and Agriculture Development Department, has been posted as Secretary, Sikkim Housing & Development Board, on deputation.
Similarly, Mr. Barfungpa, presently posted as Special Secretary-cum-Director, Commerce and Industries Department has been posted as Secretary, Administrative Reforms Commission, on deputation.
Meanwhile, SK Shilal, Managing Director, State Bank of Sikkim, on deputation, has been repatriated and posted as Secretary, Science & Technology Department in place of TB Gurung who retires on 01 November.
Jitendra Singh Raje, Joint Secretary, DPER&NECA Department has been posed as Managing Director, State Bank of Sikkim, on deputation.
