GANGTOK, 14 Nov: Upper Burtuk in-charge of the ruling party, DR Thapa, today began a door-to-door visit of the constituency, starting from Taktse monastery and moving down to Upper Luing and covered around 100 households and enquired after their concerns and grievances. He also assured to take forward a few proposals which were practical and assured to take up drinking water supply in the area immediately.
He was accompanied by party workers. Mr. Thapa assured the people that he will take up their issues at the required forums. Upper Burtuk, it may be recalled does not have a legislator anymore ever since the elected representative PS Tamang resigned.
The SDF youth of the area commended Mr. Thapa for his work in the constituency ever since he was made in-charge around five months back.
