GANGTOK, 11 Nov: Sikkim Democratic Front convened a series of ward-level meetings at different villages under Namcheybong constituency in East Sikkim from 22 October to 10 November. An SDF press release informs that under the leadership of the area MLA, Beg Bahadur Rai the party workers of different levels participated actively in organizing these meetings.
The release informs that the party has organized ward-level meetings at Upper Gaucharan, Pastanga, Changey, Upper Aho, Daragaon, Sumin, Upper and Lower Lingzey, Kadamtam, Senti, Lower Aho, Yangtam, Chota Singtam, Saureni, Rai Gaon, Naibutar and Basnet Gaon under Namcheybong constituency.
The release further states that during these meetings, the area MLA encouraged the youth to lead the state towards development. He stated that they should work together to make Sikkim beautiful and progressive for the coming generation. Mr Rai also spoke on the future programmes of the party for the development of the state.
