GANGTOK, 12 Nov: Representatives of All Sikkim Gurung (Tamu) Buddhist Association called on the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee at Raj Bhavan here on 10 November and apprised him about the long pending demand of the Gurungs of Sikkim.
A press release informs that the association was represented by Dev Gurung, Tika Gurung, Hasta Bahadur Gurung, Dhan Bahadur Gurung and Saral Gurung. The President assured the group that he will look into the matter, the release adds.
