GANGTOK, 01 Nov: The Ladakhi Group of Companies is all set to launch a monthly magazine- ‘Good News Sikkim’, scheduled to be launched at Mayfair Resorts on 02 November.
Speaking to media persons today, Chief Editor of the magazine, Ugen Ladakhi, informed that the new magazine will have “only good and positive news” and will not carry any negative or political stories.
“The magazine will have inspirational stories of the unsung heroes of the state and of the people all over the world who are doing well or have brought laurels to Sikkim,” he said and added that this will be a feel good magazine for the people, especially for the young.
“We will not carry any political stories nor any stories that bring sorrow to the heart, this magazine when people read will bring smile and warmth to the heart”, he stated.
The magazine owned by the Ladakhi Group of Companies has at present 10 people in the editorial team, is priced at Rs. 30 and contains 80 pages. Initially it will be sold only in Sikkim as it is a Sikkim-based magazine but there are plans to expand the horizon in future.
