The vehicle bearing its registration number SK/04/P/199 (I-10) belonged to Kala Subba of Salghari village who is an active member of the SDF party’s Cheli Morcha. Ms Subba has accused SKM youth for the act and claims to have been threatened by SKM members [whom she has name in her police complaint] on 11 October. She had then lodged a complaint with Jorethang police on 12 October.
The case has been registered at Jorethang PS against unidentified person and is under investigation. Meanwhile, SDF has condemned the incident and demanded immediate arrest of those involved.
