JORETHANG, 01 Oct [IPR]: The office of the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Jorethang was officially inaugurated today by the Area MLA, Madan Cintury at the State Institute of Capacity Building Office, Karfectar.
The inaugural program was attended by President Jorethang Nagar Panchayat, Purosuttam Agrawal, DC South, Prabhaker Verma, Chief Administrator, SD Dhakal, SE RMDD, Kewal Sharma, Additional Director SIRD, Vishal Rai, officials and staffs of SICB, members of panchayats and local gentry.
Tenzing D Denzongpa who is the SDM Jorethang informed the media that the sub divisional office Jorethang will start functioning officially from today itself. SDM Jorethang covers four Revenue/VLO Circle like Salghari, Poklok, Sumbuk and Melli Dara. Also under the SDM Jorethang’s jurisdiction are 19 revenue blocks from Jorethang Bazaar upto Melli Dara.
A. Salghari Block 1. Jorethang Bazaar 2. Salghari 3. Dorop 4. Dhargaon 5. Tinik and 6. Chisopani.
B. Poklok Block 1. Sangbung 2. Poklok and 3. Denchung.
C. Sumbuk Block 1. Sumbuk 2. Kartikey and 3. Suntaley
D. Melli Dara Block 1. Melli Dara 2. Paiyong 3. Kerabari 4. Melli 5. Turuk 6.Ramabung 7. Panchgharey
Regarding the various paper works executed from the office, he informed that certificates like OBC/MBC, Unmarried, Birth, etc will be issued and other Registration and Mutation works pertaining to the above VLO Circle will be carried out from SDM Jorethang office. However the office has started with only few designated staff while many more are yet to join the office. He extended gratitude towards the SICB faculty and it’s Chief Administrator Mr Dhakal for their cooperation.
