GANGTOK, 07 Oct: Sikkim Democratic Front president, Chief Minister Pawan Chamling, today greeted the his former Cabinet colleague and now Opposition member, PS Tamang [Golay], on having formally joined the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha. The CM took the social media route to convey his best wishes to Mr. Tamang.
On his official Facebook page [https://www.facebook.com/#!/BeautifulSikkim], Mr. Chamling wrote early this morning: “As a sincere and true democratic soldier of the Indian Parliamentary system of governance, I congratulate Shri PS Golay for his active association with Sikkim Krantikari Morcha. My best wishes to him”.
He adds, “In the Indian Parliamentary democratic system, every citizen has the right to express his/ her views and form socio-cultural associations and form or join political parties”.
